This little trick will make you a lot faster if you commonly do searches on other websites like LinkedIn, Wikipedia or even your Google Drive. I did not know you could do this, but in Chrome you can add a custom search that you invoke by entering your chosen keyword.
For example, once it is set up, I can type the keyword “linked” into the Google search bar and the custom search prompt for LinkedIn immediately displays. Then when I type in the search term, Google limits its searches to LinkedIn and actually puts me in the LinkedIn site with the result of my search.
